Heads up before you dive into this article. It's the end of the year, so we've taken a light-hearted approach. Just roll with it.
Like nearly every startup out there, we also gathered around our corporate fireplace (read burn barrel) to recap our year. And now we're sharing it with you.
Let's kick off with some short intro before we jump into those stats that no one really cares about but are apparently cool.
We joined a Startup Academy, which taught us a ton. Mainly, we learned what we're doing wrong. But hey, we learn from mistakes, right? And we've got stuff to build on... hopefully.
We’ve been working hard on improving of our services and now we support builds of Electron and Flutter applications. Plus, we've treated ourselves by investing in our own merch, and it's so cool that one of our founders got his lovely snapback stolen (but between us, we think he just lost it).

In 2023, You (Not you? Why? Go here, do registration and start use Nutpipe!). So in 2023, you created with Nutpipe a whopping 5,193 builds, which is 3,629 more than in 2022. That's a staggering increase of 232.03%!
Out of those, 2,680 builds were for iOS, and 2,513 were for Android.
Regarding Build minutes in 2023, we racked up 78,543 minutes. That's 50,041 more than in 2022, a increase of 175.57%!
For iOS, it was 40,848 minutes, and for Android, 37,695 minutes.
And now, the best part! During 2023, we managed to decrease average build times for Android! (If you're thinking about it right now. Then yeah, that build just takes less time now!)
And not only once but twice! Here's a breakdown (This is a sample case from one of our clients to demonstrate the percentage speed increase in builds):
First Speed Up at the start of 2023: Original average build speed - 37.16 minutes. After speeding up, it dropped to 21.10 minutes! That's a 43.22% speed-up!
Second Speed Up in October 2023: Original average build speed - 23.20 minutes. After speeding up, it dropped to 18.16 minutes! That's a 21.72% speed-up!
Overall, that's a 34.96% increase of speed-up for the year. And here's the kicker: since our clients pay per build minute, they effectively got a nearly 35% discount from us throughout the year! And in these times, that's a deal, Horst! Oh, and in case you didn't know, Horst Fuchs passed away this year :/ So, sorry, no car polish included.
We also know who our most diligent clients are in terms of building minutes, but that's our dirty secret. So, you (you know who you are) can look forward to a little gift (a keychain from a gas station). We've nicely wrapped it and sent it via the best service. The post office! So expect it by summer 2025.
